Scope of Work
This commercial tenant improvement project in Roseville, CA modernized a 450 sq. ft. executive boardroom within the KB Homes office. The scope included custom executive cabinetry, media wall construction, concealed cable and conduit routing, electrical relocation for conference room power and AV support, upgraded lighting for presentations and video meetings, drywall repair, texture matching, interior painting, finish trim integration, and final detailing to create a polished, tech-ready conference space.
Challenges
The main challenge was integrating modern conference room technology into a high-visibility executive space without exposed wiring, disrupted architectural lines, or a compromised professional appearance. The project also required tight coordination between cabinetry, electrical, drywall, and finish trades to ensure the upgraded boardroom felt custom, functional, and seamless within the existing office.
Solutions
We approached the work as a high-end commercial TI, installing custom flat-panel cabinetry with concealed heavy-duty hinges and soft-close hardware for a clean executive finish and long-term durability. At the media wall, we added structural backing and precision blocking for large-format displays, then routed power, HDMI, and data through concealed conduit pathways to achieve a wire-free built-in appearance. We upgraded the lighting layout with LED fixtures to improve visibility and reduce screen glare, then completed drywall repair and texture matching so new and existing finishes blended seamlessly. The result is a modern executive boardroom with refined millwork, hidden technology integration, and commercial-grade performance for presentations, meetings, and daily leadership use.
