Serge was completely awesome throughout our project which involved a leaky kitchen window that ended up being from a window leak on the second floor which required stucco removal, dry rot repairs, and window replacements. Their costs were reasonable and their crews were great about cleaning up before going home at the end of each day. They were also able to replicate the type of stucco finish we have on the rest of the house. First time working with Good Life Construction. They did a Full Frame replacement of four windows. From the start it went very well with Roman coming out for an estimate. I was concerned that because this was a multifamily and not my residence that the quality of the whole project might be "just ok" but as soon as the project began my concerns were alleviated. Valentyn was project manager and he did an excellent job on communication and the entire project. Workers were polite and showed up on time. From covering up my flooring with planks and drop clothes to not positioning the ladders on my gutters but rather on solid stucco and then cleaning up everyday after themselves they displayed great care in all that they did. Some minor dry rot issues were handled without question, they matched the Stucco perfectly (very important to me), and they even painted the entire wall after the install. From start to finish exactly what I wanted. Thanks again to Valentyn and the installers and Roman as well. From the beginning to the end Good Life Construction was professional and easy to communicate with. Roman is an absolute asset to the Good Life Construction company. His knowledge of services needed were spot on. Frankly I didn't even bother with getting other estimates which is not typical. Keep in mind the weather here in Sacramento has been brutally hot, even so, his team soldiered through it. They  "amazed" me with their speed and quality. I would definitely recommend using Good Life Construction for your next project. No more dry rot and the new paint ... much needed and appreciated. I'll start by saying I'd highly recommend this company because they are very professional and efficient! We recently purchased our home and experienced a lot of water damage due to a storm. Moisture turned out to be in almost every room of our house, and then we found out we had mold in one of the bedrooms. Once that was remediated, I contacted Good Life because I loved the positive reviews I read on yelp. They were able to come out a day or two after I called, which was great. Paul was the estimator who came out and I can't recommend him enough. He did a very thorough inspection, he was so professional, and very responsive. Anytime we had any questions, we'd call or text him and he always responded and he'd explain everything perfectly. Upon his inspection, he found a ton of dry rot and spots where the siding looked like it had been replaced or repaired poorly. There were holes in the siding and we have old, leaky windows that were also contributing to the water damage. Paul wrote up a couple different estimates to see which route we'd like to take to get the work done, and once that was figured out, the work started right away. They estimated about a week or so for the entire project and finished on time, even with rainy weather. The guys were there at 8am every single morning and got right to work. There was a bit of a language barrier with some of the guys, but we communicated through google translate and had no issues at all. They worked very hard and we're so happy with the results! I would totally recommend Good Life Construction.  I hired this company to replace 4 supporting post that had dry rot damage. Alex and Fedor were the contractors that did the job. They both were really professional, great personalities to have conversations with and showed that they have decades of experience. Had a leaking window and dry rot problem in one one of our bedroom and also dry rot in our upstairs bathroom. Called Good life and Roman came and gave us an estimate. He was not pushy and he was knowledgeable. We got a couple of more estimates from other companies too. When my husband and I decided to call good life they were ready to start the venext Monday. They had guys guys working in the bedroom , our bathroom and window guys too . We were very impressed. They did a great job and they did not cut any corners . My neighbors were very impressed when they finished my window because they said it looks so good that you cannot tell they took out the whole wall to put a new window. My bathroom looks so good that my son was so happy to be the first one to use it lol.. also every time I had a question I called and texted Roman and he called and texted back right away. I forgot to ask the names of the two main guys who were always here . They were very friendly and they worked really hard . Good Life did an amazing job handling what turned into a surprise massive dry rot and water damage repair job. The initial quote process for what we thought would be minor dry rot repair and a small area of stucco demolition was easy and smooth, but once the work started it was immediately clear that there was significant dry rot and water damage throughout an entire exterior wall of the house, which eventually resulted in them having the basically completely rebuild that wall. New framing, new insulation, even replacing floor joists, removing multiple windows and reframing them....it was all done quickly and professionally, and they checked in with me each time they discovered something new that would require additional work or a change in approach. The crew wore masks inside the house and even dusted off their shoes when going in and out, they matched the stucco texture outside and the plaster texture inside (around the windows), they were super responsive whenever I had any questions, and were happy to work with my homeowners insurance to help get some of the costs covered. TLDR: Had a great experience with Vera, Yuri and crew. Vera was a pleasure to deal with over the phone and email. We quickly identified what needed to be done and she sent over a contract via docusign (should mention that we had a pest report that sped things up). Communication was good during the several day project on the exterior of our home. Payment process was smooth and we were notified when payment was received. No surprises. Additional context below: We purchased a home that had dry rot issues on the exterior in many places, as well as some issues with several portions of roof barge rafters plus jambs of garage door. We were notified exactly when the crew would show up on the first day. Yuri introduced himself and was friendly, courteous throughout. He let us know when they'd take lunch breaks and all the crew abided with masks. They also made sure to clean up their work areas everyday before they departed. The crew finished ahead of schedule. As a wrap up, Yuri took me through a walkthrough to make sure everything in the contract was addressed. Happy to recommend this company to others looking for similar work! Attaching a few photos, they did a really nice job with the chimney exterior which was a giant portion of the work. The paint used is really close to the house color...only really noticeable if you get up close and try to find the repaired areas on the roof/exterior. They do complicated projects that other builders won’t touch. did  both a dry rot repair and some plaster repair from some car damage for us. Both repairs are virtually undetectable. The Good Life members are all professional, their work is excellent & I'm having a lot of work done. I started with dry rot repair, new vents, new crawl space vent, new attic cover all wood, new hardie board siding, then removing all stucco on one side, refloating new stucco, city inspector was impressed, and we passed inspection. They then skinned stucco surface on front side of my home for a smoother look to surface of stucco. And they placed a first layer on front. I'm very happy how things are turning out thus far. I would like to thank the workers, the owner, and most of all Serge for their outstanding work! Serge is the first guy I met from Good Life Construction. I consider him the "face" of the company. He is kind and personable ... more like an old friend than a company rep. And he was fast and efficient at giving me a detailed estimate of my project. The price was reasonable, and I believed that Good Life Construction would do a good job, because they are the highest-rated contractor on Yelp. What I didn't know was how far they would exceed my expectations! The quality of work was A+, and they were able to complete it faster than other contractors, because they already have their own crew of painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc ... ready to work on any project at a moment's notice! I first began looking for a contracting company that would demolish and rebuild the partial brick facade in front of my mother's old house. It was built in 1967, and the brick was crumbling and cracked in many places. Unfortunately, I could only find a couple of companies that lay or repair brick anymore. Good Life Construction is one of those companies. And it was just my luck to find that their company is the highest-rated contracting company on Yelp. Their crew is highly skilled and hard-working. Dimitri and Pavel did a fabulous job laying the bricks! I miss Dimitri's sense of humor and Pavel singing while he worked. Mike, the project manager, was a responsible guy who paid close attention to every detail of the project. He found some serious dry rot in the rim joists behind the brick, and his crew repaired it with great diligence and care. Then, as for my mom's counters, Mike directed me to a place with a large inventory of granite. I was even able to find one that was a rare and beautiful green color! Mike's crew also fixed our pocket/sliding door in the service porch that was always getting stuck. They replaced it with a swinging door that looked even better! Then, when it came to painting the outside of the house, Paul blew my mind with the extra work and time he spent sanding down the numerous old posts in the patio! He did such an exquisite job of painting the house that you would have thought that he was doing it for his own mother. Paul is just about the kindest guy you'll ever meet ... like a younger version of Serge! If this sounds like I'm writing a review for a family member, it's just because Serge, Mike, Dimitri, Pavel, and Paul all make you feel like you're a part of their family. Good Life Construction could actually be called Good Family Construction because that is who they really are ... one big happy family! I trust them just like my family. I have used and referred Good Life Construction multiple times for many real estate transactions throughout the past 8+ years. They can not only do dry rot repairs but also offer General Contracting services and many of my clients have loved them so much during their RE transaction, that they've hired them to do more. They are great communicators,  prompt to come on site to provide an estimate, sometimes even the same day, they are competitive in price but mostly they are quick to get the job done in a clean and efficient manner. Repair a Deck or Porch Performed dry rot repair on a portion of deck and also at some roof level fascia and barge rafter, as per a pest inspection report. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and did a great job. They are more than fairly priced, and the customer service and communications from Andrey and Vera were top-notch! Repair Damage from Dry-rot, Water or Pests We had some damaged siding due to dry rot damage and some other wood members on our home. We contacted Good Life Construction for an estimate. They came out and proposed a cost effective solution to repair the siding. The job went really smoothly and they did a great job cleaning up after the project was completed. During the repairs the crew opened up some additional damaged framing, Alex came out and explained what it would take to take care of that damage. Install or Repair Siding When I met Alex he was very attentive to our needs and provided a bid within a day. This company was not the cheapest bid that we received, but I chose them because they were honest and upfront about all the costs. They also looked very clean and professional, compared to some of the other contractors that came out. The work they performed is amazing. We had terrible dry rot issues with our siding and trims. The crews arrived on time every day, were very kind and respectful to our property and to us. They cleaned up every day and painted all of the repaired areas to match my existing paint because are only planning to repaint perhaps next summer. We are very happy with the work and it was worth the money. You get what you pay for and Good Life Construction fulfilled every promise and request. Thanks to the entire team. The Good Life Construction company did a great job for us and we would definitely call them again. Had dry rot around windows on a house from the 1920s. They are very professional, prompt, and knowledgeable. Their team is easy to work with. These guys did a great job repairing the dry rot on my new house. I looked them up online and scheduled and estimate. They were the only company that came on time and their quote was in the middle. They seemed like knew the dry rot business and I am so glad we hired them. Paul and Mike were a great crew.
