Scope of Work
Good Life Construction remodeled the women’s and men’s locker room bathrooms at a commercial property in Elk Grove. The work included demolition and replacement of plumbing fixtures, showers, partitions, lockers, counters, flooring, lighting, dispensers, and the drinking fountain, along with framing, pipe, drywall, lath, stucco, texture, and paint repairs.
Challenges
The remodel required new systems and finishes to be integrated with existing restroom, shower, and exterior wall assemblies. Additional framing, plumbing, drywall, and stucco repairs also required careful coordination to maintain the planned layout, accessibility requirements, and consistent finishes.
Solutions
Good Life Construction removed affected materials, replaced framing, repaired the shower-area pipe connection, rebuilt drywall and stucco sections, and matched surrounding texture and paint. Water-saving fixtures, automated dispensers, slip-resistant flooring, LED lighting, and a hands-free bottle-filling fountain completed the functional upgrades.
Final Result
- Affected framing and wall assemblies were repaired while accessibility requirements were incorporated into the restroom renovation.
- Updated fixtures, showers, partitions, lockers, flooring, lighting, and bottle-filling equipment improved the locker rooms’ daily functionality.
- Water-saving fixtures, hands-free dispensers, slip-resistant flooring, and repaired finish assemblies support efficient operation and maintenance.
