Good Life Construction replaced the back deck and siding, including window trim, at my house in Sacramento. The finished product looks great. The Sales Manager (Slavic) and Project Manager (Valentin) were very helpful in answering questions and doing things to my satisfaction. The crew was polite and did excellent work. Language problems were handled by calling the managers or using the iPhone translator. The work was done within the cost and time estimates. A different company called TOV Permit and Plans drafted the plans and obtained the required city permits. Contacts were Susanna & Liana. They kept me updated weekly while waiting 2-3 months to get permits before the work could begin. When we expanded the scope of work, they accurately estimated that it would take two weeks to get the revised permit, and they handled everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience having my deck replaced!     Jonathan came out to measure and give me a quote.  He was quick and professional.  I was wondering if he had enough info, since other companies wanted to spend 30 minutes looking and measuring!  Turns out, he did!  He gave me a price I could live with!  Work started the next week! Serviii (not sure of spelling), Mark and the crew were beyond excellent!  Their work was exceptional!  They didn't just build a deck.  Their craftsmanship and attention to detail was amazing!  I'm extremely impressed!  They were here for 5 days and each evening, they left their work area clean and tidy! I have many other projects to complete around here and Good Life Construction will be doing them! Good Life is always my go to when referring my clients for construction projects or repairs, so it was a no brainer when it came time to replace our old deck at our own house. Roman from Good Life was very helpful throughout the entire process from the initial meeting to the finishing touches. To start, I called over 5 companies before running into Good Life's yelp page. They were the first to get Alex to call me back as promised, scheduled a date/time to come give me an estimate on a dry rot/damaged deck that had just buckled under my feet from a piece of lumber jarring lose from being a key support item underneath my first floor deck. Alex, Vera and staff were easy to communicate with, transparent with pricing and punctual with appointments and finished earlier than scheduled for my repairs. I contacted several contractors to replace a 1967 lanai with a new deck and patio cover. Only one could meet and give me an estimate within the week, Good Life Construction. I did finally obtain several other quotes but the knowledge and expertise of the estimators paled in comparison to Jacob from Good Life. He set a very high bar no other company could meet. I sort of had an idea of what I wanted and he was able to visualize it and give it a realistic plan and very reasonable estimate of time and cost to complete. Upon signing the contract, I was provided an extraordinary project manager, Yaroslav, who communicated with multiple crews, myself, and with Jacob when a change had to be made (we later added hand railed to each set of steps). The crews, Peter, Alex, Serg, Yevgeniy, and Illia, were always early to the job, stayed until the sun went down (and beyond), cleaned up after themselves, and genuinely seemed to enjoy working with each other. The work was exemplary and they all exceeded our expectations. We now have a beautiful covered deck that we can enjoy all year round and could not be more pleased. I will not hesitate to recommend Good Life Construction to my friends and neighbors that need a home improvement project completed. Excellent job! I was kept well informed of the building process from start to finish - what to expect, materials used, cost, etc. - and was updated daily once construction began. The finished deck looks better than when we moved in 20 years ago, and it's built to 2025 codes and materials. All in all, just a great experience. Thank you, Serge, and the construction crew. We recently had our front deck and stairway redone and painted as well as lights installed along the stairway by Good Life Construction. The whole process went very smoothly - Slavic was very professional and friendly from giving original estimate to overseeing the job until the very end when the lights were installed. He communicated and gave heads up throughout the whole process, which took about a week, working around some rainy days. The quality of work was very good - Slavic and Vlad did an amazing job on the deck. Great carpentry work as well as detailed paint job. From the very quick response to my request, all the way to the completed project, my experience with Good Life Construction was superb! Paul came to my house and provided an estimate the same day. Estimate was detailed, comprehensive and accurate. Upon discovering some dry rot, Paul quickly would provide me with an updated estimate. The workmen were great to work with! They were friendly, very skilled and worked quickly. Anytime I needed to ask a question I would call the office and the office staff were just as great. They would get back to me very quickly with an answer to my question. The quality and improvement in how my deck previously looked and now look spectacular!  I would hire this company for any construction job you need. It was a seamless project despite having to address dry rot issue. This company is very professional and delightful to deal with. The communication at every level was so excellent. I was never left in the dark about any detail. Thank you to Paul and especially to my workmen. It looks so much better than I could imagine! Alex came out for the initial walk through, and I had an estimate emailed to me that same day. After I approved the estimate, I was on their schedule within 2 weeks. The project itself went as quickly as possible, given the weather and a few other extenuating circumstances. Let me tell you: my new deck is beautiful! The Westcoat stamped tile surface is such an upgrade from what I had before. It seemed like a complex project as the deck is also the roof to my living room, but the crew made the process look easy. They were also a pleasant group of guys to have around—respectful of my home, cleaning up after every workday. And no more worry when it rains! The peace of mind I have is priceless. Repair a Deck or Porch Performed dry rot repair on a portion of deck and also at some roof level fascia and barge rafter, as per a pest inspection report. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and did a great job. They are more than fairly priced, and the customer service and communications from Andrey and Vera were top-notch!
