Short version: Outstanding workmanship at a reasonable price! Longer version The problem: Our home developed a leak above the first floor window a few years ago that was progressively worsening during rainstorms. On the interior of the home, the drywall above the window was beginning to crumble apart and the paint was peeling. On the exterior there was a visible crack in the stucco directly above the leak. I knew this was going to be an annoying and complicated repair. We called Good Life and the very next day we had our estimator come look at the job (Victor). He was kind, on time, and completely confident his team could fix the problem. I had the estimate within a few hours. The price was reasonable, so we made the deposit, and we were scheduled for the work to begin the following week. The job: The initial estimate included cutting a small 2 foot square into the stucco above the window to assess the source of the leak, and all the interior drywall repairs. The estimate was incredibly thorough detailing all the work they would be performing. Upon opening the wall, the leak was eventually determined to be coming from the window above it, and this obviously required additional work to fix the problem, this wasn't much of a surprise. The contractors: We had Igor & Nic, who I don't think I could find the right words to describe how awesome they are. These guys were incredibly hard working, professional, clean, and friendly. Asides from that, the quality of the work they performed was just outstanding. They cut a significant hole into the side of our house, had to somehow magically put it all back together, match stucco, match paint. It was fascinating to watch the process. What really stood out the most to me though, was their attention to detail. I could tell they took great pride in their work. They weren't just trying to get the job done, they were perfectionists about every little detail. The price: I felt their price was completely reasonable for having 2 all star workers at my home for 4 full days from 8am to 6pm. They were on time, the quality of work far exceeded my expectations, and they left the workplace clean. You couldn't tell they were ever here. Overall: I have not one negative thing to say about my experience. The crew was great, Victor constantly checked in and made sure he was on site when the house was initially opened up to explain what needed to be done. We were so pleasantly surprised by how much pride Alex our worker took to repair the damage and turn back into a beautiful man cave remodel. Sean the construction Manager promised and delivered. This was a wonderful experience and it looks brand new. And believe me, there was a fair amount of dry rot! Peggy C.July 14, 2026This is the 3rd time I have hired Good Life for work on my home, they always do an excellent job, arrive on time, do a good job of clean-up. I have had them repaint the exterior of my home and install 2 new front doors and new overhead lighting and fans throughout my home. I also had them replace carpeting with LVF and this time I had my bathrooms redone. There is a bit of a language barrier but there is always someone available to clear up problems. Before they started the project, they filed for the permits, explained the process and allowed us to choose the type and color of the shingles, gutters and soffits. They cleaned up at the end of every work day. When we thought they were done, they came back out and touched up the paint where it needed it and rehung the cable/phone lines and exterior lighting. Mike S.June 19, 2026We had signs of fungus (like a small flat mushroom) coming through a seam in our bay window that had been hidden by the blinds. I knew this wasn't good, as fungus means moisture and dead stuff (old wood). Thankfully this isn't a "M word" story (mold). But anyone would be concerned by a weird intrusion like this so I had Good Life come out and check it out. I had been dealing with real estate recently, and I was somewhat familiar with Good Life for home inspections so I gave them a shot at this repair. Project Manager Eugene arrived with one of the construction crew and they explained what they could do to assess the problem. We scheduled them to come out and pull off some drywall and do a moisture test. The next day they were able to confirm that water was getting into the wall from a part of the outside stucco and had caused extensive dry rot down to the studs. Obviously, this is where it sounds expensive. Eugene explained in detail what needed to be done to repair the damage and to prevent a future leak. He emailed me a detailed repair with a reasonable estimate, including an up front discussion on change orders that may need to be made. I approved the estimate online and felt confident that the guys knew what they were doing. Over the next week or so the crew from Good Life worked efficiently and professionally to remove the old stucco, wood and insulation and treat the fungus affected area which about 10 feet high by 8 feet wide on the exterior. Eugene called or updated me on the daily progress in-person and was very professional. The crew was Ukrainian and spoke some English along the way but Eugene and a couple others explained everything clearly. After a couple of detailed change orders the crew put the front of the house back together with fresh wood, insulation, stucco and a brick veneer that looked especially challenging. I was very impressed with the crew's versatility in how those guys were able make the house look the same down to the paint and the landscaping that was in front. Good Life did great work and made my house look good as new. They worked quickly and effectively and left a very clean result inside and outside. The cost was a good value for the amount of work I saw completed and the attention to detail. I would definitely call Good Life again for repairs, but hopefully we're done with anything at this level. I selected several companies on yelp for the repair project. I am so glad that I chose to work with Good life construction. Jason Khadzhi ( lead project manager) was very quick to respond and provided a very reasonable quote right away. His crew was punctual, efficient and completed the work beyond my expectations! Yaro ( the project manager) was there every day to make sure the work was done right. All the workers were very polite and respectful answering any questions I had. They were thorough, maintained a neat worksite. I can tell they take pride in the work they perform. We also found additional problem during the repair and since the company is very big and covers many service, I don't have to search for different company and good life construction was able to provide the service that I need. Jason always goes above and beyond. Had the opportunity to observe work in progress and was definitely impressed with their diligence and attention to detail. What is hidden under the facade is at times even more important than what we see outside. Igor, the lead man, ensured the stairs are fortified with extra support and the result was a solidly built stairs and landing we hope to enjoy for years. I started with dry rot repair, new vents, new crawl space vent, new attic cover all wood, new hardie board siding, then removing all stucco on one side, refloating new stucco, city inspector was impressed, and we passed inspection. They then skinned stucco surface on front side of my home for a smoother look to surface of stucco. And they placed a first layer on front. I'm very happy how things are turning out thus far. We didn't know anybody in the construction business, and didn't have anyone close to offer a recommendation. So, with much trepidation, I went online. I reached out to four companies who seemed likely. One of them never contacted me back; the second one asked for what I was looking for, then sent an extremely expensive estimate; the third came out and gave us a bid which was a lot more than we were hoping to spend. Then Roman with Good Life Construction came out and gave us a quote that we could live with. He was personable and knowledgeable. I checked the Better Business Bureau, the Contractor's Licensing Board, Yelp, and Googled the heck out of them. Good, all the way around. We made the right decision when we hired them to do the job. They were there the day and time they promised, never missed a day, and showed up on time, like clockwork, ready to work. They remodeled one bathroom, then moved to the next without missing a beat. Viktor and Daniel genuinely care about the job they do and take pride in their work. It shows. They are professional, skilled, and pay attention to detail. They communicated with us regularly, so all the small decisions needed along the way were handled quickly. They were respectful of our space, cleaned up after themselves, and made the inconvenience of having someone in our home easier than expected. Both of my bathrooms came out beautifully. The price was reasonable, and I believed that Good Life Construction would do a good job, because they are the highest-rated contractor on Yelp. The quality of work was A+, and they were able to complete it faster than other contractors, because they already have their own crew of painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc ... ready to work on any project at a moment's notice! I first began looking for a contracting company that would demolish and rebuild the partial brick facade in front of my mother's old house. It was built in 1967, and the brick was crumbling and cracked in many places. Unfortunately, I could only find a couple of companies that lay or repair brick anymore. Good Life Construction is one of those companies. And it was just my luck to find that their company is the highest-rated contracting company on Yelp. Their crew is highly skilled and hard-working. Dimitri and Pavel did a fabulous job laying the bricks! I miss Dimitri's sense of humor and Pavel singing while he worked. Mike, the project manager, was a responsible guy who paid close attention to every detail of the project. He found some serious dry rot in the rim joists behind the brick, and his crew repaired it with great diligence and care. Then, as for my mom's counters, Mike directed me to a place with a large inventory of granite. I was even able to find one that was a rare and beautiful green color! Mike's crew also fixed our pocket/sliding door in the service porch that was always getting stuck. They replaced it with a swinging door that looked even better! Then, when it came to painting the outside of the house, Paul blew my mind with the extra work and time he spent sanding down the numerous old posts in the patio! He did such an exquisite job of painting the house that you would have thought that he was doing it for his own mother. Paul is just about the kindest guy you'll ever meet ... like a younger version of Serge! If this sounds like I'm writing a review for a family member, it's just because Serge, Mike, Dimitri, Pavel, and Paul all make you feel like you're a part of their family. Good Life Construction could actually be called Good Family Construction because that is who they really are ... one big happy family! I trust them just like my family. We contacted Good Life Construction for an estimate. They came out and proposed a cost effective solution to repair the siding. The job went really smoothly and they did a great job cleaning up after the project was completed. During the repairs the crew opened up some additional damaged framing, Alex came out and explained what it would take to take care of that damage. The additional price for repair of the frame was very fair and they got it completed right away. This company was not the cheapest bid that we received, but I chose them because they were honest and upfront about all the costs. They also looked very clean and professional, compared to some of the other contractors that came out. The work they performed is amazing. We had terrible dry rot issues with our siding and trims. The crews arrived on time every day, were very kind and respectful to our property and to us. They cleaned up every day and painted all of the repaired areas to match my existing paint because are only planning to repaint perhaps next summer. We are very happy with the work and it was worth the money. You get what you pay for and Good Life Construction fulfilled every promise and request. Thanks to the entire team.
