Scope of Work
This deck rebuild and expansion project in Vacaville, CA included full demolition of the existing elevated deck system, structural framing replacement, a new Trex composite decking installation, Trex railing system, stair rebuild, engineered footing work, and concrete improvements. The project also included a 12’ x 12’ deck extension, new fascia, waterproofing details, and structural hardware upgrades to improve safety, durability, and long-term performance.
Challenges
The project required rebuilding an aging elevated deck system while preserving usable elements where possible, integrating a new extension into the existing layout, and ensuring the structure met modern load requirements and code-compliant support standards.
Solutions
Our team completed a full structural rebuild using new pressure-treated framing, Trex composite decking, engineered footing upgrades, and a cohesive stair and railing system. The result is a stronger, low-maintenance outdoor living space with expanded usable square footage, improved structural integrity, and a clean, modern finish.
