Scope of Work
Good Life Construction completed a residential concrete flatwork project in Roseville that included a new front entry area, driveway extension, Y-shaped sidewalk connection to the gate, hot tub pad, surrounding sidewalk area, and an entertainment circle. The final entertainment circle finish was changed to broom-finish concrete with no color, and existing rocks were set aside as requested during the work.
Challenges
The project required coordination across several separate exterior concrete areas, including the front entry, driveway extension, hot tub zone, and entertainment circle. The layout needed to support daily access, outdoor use, and a future hot tub area while keeping transitions practical around the existing yard conditions.
Solutions
Good Life Construction installed new concrete flatwork for the front entry, extended the driveway, formed a 3-foot sidewalk connection to the gate, and built the hot tub pad with surrounding access space. The entertainment circle was completed with a broom finish and no added color, creating a cleaner, lower-maintenance finish consistent with the approved change.
Final Result
- Improved outdoor access with new concrete connections from the driveway, front entry, gate, and backyard use areas.
- Added functional space for a hot tub area and entertainment circle with a simple broom-finish surface.
- Increased long-term usability with durable concrete flatwork designed for everyday exterior use.
